Welcome to Hammond Horror Fest 2018! This year marks the 8th Annual Hammond Horror Festival, a series of events taking place in and around downtown Hammond that is sure to entertain you with a twist of horror just in time for Halloween.
The purpose of the Hammond Horror Festival is to provide an annual community project for artists of all mediums to showcase their work in an alternative celebration of the arts, while benefitting local arts organizations. Established in October 2011, Hammond Horror Fest is designed to embrace the contributions, tastes, and cultural energies that local professional and student artists bring to this region.
The planned location of the festival is downtown Hammond, LA, and various surrounding areas, in order to support and enrich the arts and culture of this historic city. The goal of this festival is to inspire local artists to get involved with their community in the spirit of Halloween, and will do so by welcoming a spread of performances and exhibitions of art including, but not limited to: theatre, music, visual arts, dance, poetry/spoken word and film.

Alpha Psi Omega presents their annual 24-hour theatre event for this year's Horror Festival. From the makers of HAMMOND HORROR 7 (2017) and 7 TALES FROM THE LABYRINTH (2016) comes our latest adventure into original works of theatre. And yes---this is a 24 hour theatre event, meaning we will have exactly 24 hours to write, rehearse, add technical aspects, and then perform!
Join us for a night of original horror films made within a 48-hour time span. Festivities include a dark and twisted dance piece by La LA Tribal Belly Dance, a Horror-Themed Arts Market, music, bunches of raffle prizes, and, of course, plenty of horror movies!
